Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress is well known for her roles in film and on television since the mid 1980s. Her home was Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett moved with her older sister St. Petersburg Florida at age five in order to be near their mother and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett was in high school when she watched James Earl Jones staring John Steinbeck production Of Mice and Men and knew that her dream of being an actor had been realized. After graduating of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned an undergraduate degree with a major in African American Studies, she continued to pursue a Master's Degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she met Courtney B. Vance a fellow actor and the two married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. the Yale School of Drama awarded an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett back in 1980. She was a student at the institutions that she attended: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th & 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett plays Ramonda as one of the principal characters in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther Wakanda forever 2022.
